Newhouse is the course author and instructor of Orchestration 1, Orchestration 2, and Music Composition for Film & Television, which are available through the online division of the Berklee College of Music.

Newhouse published the book Producing Music with Digital Performer, which is currently available through traditional retail and Internet outlets.
